About Us

Find out about volunteering. Check out our staff. Rent our facilities.

Opening August 1984, the Kennebecasis Public Library fills an important role in our community. Not only do we have books to help people learn and grow, we also have videos, music, magazines, maps and newspapers.

Our most recent statistics show over 12,000 registered borrowers, over 40,000 items, and access to over 1.5 million resource materials throughout the New Brunswick Library System.

But that's not all. In addition to these resources, we have eight computers for searching the Internet, as well as rooms for people to meet.

How do we manage all this?

It's because we've got a great staff, super volunteers, and a fantastic Board of Directors. Many thanks to our Board - Heather Crawford (Chair), Denise Brennan (Vice Chair), Sean Bentley (Treasurer), Philip Pugsley, Judy Heron, Norma Mullett, Kevin Wright, and Gerry Maher.
